Carol Hidy

Carol serves as Co-Chair of the Grantmaking Committee, where she helps lead a thoughtful and effective grantmaking process. She has been an active member of the Giving Circle since 2013, contributing her time and expertise to both the Grantmaking and Partner Committees. 

Before retiring in 2012, Carol built a 33 year career in information technology services, holding leadership and executive positions at global companies. A passionate advocate for women in the workplace, she served as an executive sponsor for her company’s women’s network and mentored many rising female leaders throughout her career.

Originally from Ohio, Carol holds both a B.S. and an MBA from The Ohio State University. She brings strong facilitation, communication, and analytical skills to her volunteer work, helping to build collaborative relationships. Outside of her community involvement, Carol enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, tackling home improvement projects, and staying closely connected with friends near and far.
